About

My Background

I was born and raised in the South Bay Area, California. Now I live in Mesa, Arizona with my husband and our three kids, Hugo, Theo, and Willow. We made the big move in early 2019 when my husband received a job offer we couldn’t pass up. We are really loving Arizona and are enjoying exploring our new home state any chance we get.

My journey to motherhood was one filled with uncertainty and an intense lack of trust in my body. When I was a teenager, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was put on hormonal birth control to regulate my non-existent cycle and was informed that I would need help conceiving in the future. I felt broken and like my body had and would continue to fail me. However, I was incredibly fortunate to conceive my son immediately after coming off birth control, but my cycle never returned after his birth. This was when I took my fertility into my own hands and took a deep dive into the world of cycle tracking and researched how to naturally regulate my hormones to restore my cycle.  When the time came to expand our family, through cycle tracking I was able to conceive quickly three times. I am incredibly passionate about fertility and pursued certification as a Fertility Doula to help families through the process of conception.

When I’m not at a birth or working with a fertility client, I love baking, practicing yoga, reading anything and everything about birth and fertility, and spending time with my family. I’m a tattooed, coffee drinking, kombucha brewing, big-hearted empath who wants to help you feel empowered and supported during your conception journey, pregnancy, labor, and 4th Trimester (the first 12 weeks postpartum).

As an empath and as a woman, I truly feel I was called to be a doula and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I look forward to walking with you on this journey and being there for you every step of the way!

My Philosophy

I believe that women are strong and capable, and that we hold incredible power. I am also very passionate about informed consent and my goal is for all of my clients to feel empowered and supported throughout their pregnancy and birth. I believe that women and especially mothers, know what is best for their bodies and their babies and that they should give birth wherever they feel most comfortable. Personally, I have given birth both in hospital and at home and am acutely aware of the unique needs in each of these birth settings. Birth is sacred and women deserve to be honored in their birth space, wherever that may be.
